Now in Beta! New location tracking feature for Bullitt Satellite Messenger  

We are excited to share that a new location tracking feature is now in the final testing stages. If you would like to be a Beta tester, read on and then complete the form below. 

Tracking works with all existing Bullitt Satellite enabled products, with a simple add on option to your plan that won’t break the bank. Once added you can regularly share your location with friends, family, or colleagues whether you have cellular coverage or not.

Once out of beta, you’ll have the option to simply add the tracking package to your existing messaging plan from within the Bullitt Satellite Messenger app. You can then select any contacts with whom you would like your session updates to be shared, define how often you’d like your location sent, through an internet or satellite connection – from as little as three minutes up to four hours – and finally the length of time you’d like to share for – up to two days – and then simply start a session.

The contacts you choose will be notified when your session starts, receiving an SMS or email with a link to an online tracker, plotting your location updates on a Google Map.

Location data is captured three times – equally spaced – between transmissions. This helps us to maximise the efficiency of data when it’s sent over a satellite connection and means greater definition in your trail mapping.
